AFC is the parent company of AFC Franchising, LLC (AFCF). This position works directly with a franchised business location. The specific job duties and benefits can vary between franchises.
Job Summary
To provide high-quality care to all patients. To assist in directing staff in the support of the care of our patients and providing oversight to advanced practice providers. To actively participate in marketing and representing the center to the community.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality patient careSupervise laboratory - take a training course to become a certified laboratory director, and ensure compliance with regulationsAbility to manage the various facets of supervising a busy medical practice - ensure proper follow-up, perform chart review, and ensure all policies are followedEnsure the center has the necessary equipment, supplies, and medications to appropriately treat patientsEnsure that medical records are completely and correctly documented - retraining staff physicians when neededInterview, hire, and train new providers and staffCompile QA data and address with staff providers as neededOversee Occupational Health and Travel Medicine ProgramsOther duties and responsibilities as assignedQualifications
Board Certified - ER, FP, or IM (with 1 yr ER/UC experience)DOT certifiedExcellent communicator with staff, patients, and familyProfessional appearance and attitudeActive and current medical licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate, as requiredAble to multi-task and work independently
Compensation: $120.00 - $125.00 per hour
