As a
Lead Project Electrical Engineer , you will be a viable member of a team focused on creating highly efficient design plans for building state-of-the-art passenger trains.
Key ActivitiesSupport the Technical Project Manager to achieve all customer technical requirementsOwn the responsibility to lead assigned sub-project tasksEffectively delegate, schedule, and monitor progress of all electrical engineering tasks on a projectCreation of technical specifications, production documentation and testing protocolsCoordinating supply chain for project related mock-ups internally as well as externallyCreate, review and release wiring diagrams, electrical schematics and other engineering documentationConsult with engineering and manufacturing teammates to ensure that designs are feasibleCreate designs in line with company procedure, regulations and client standardsEnsure that all electrical hardware is designed correctly for proper mechanical installationPerform First Article Inspections (FAI) at suppliers' sites for assigned componentsEvaluate, manage and process Engineering Change Requests (ECR) for assigned projects or sub-projectsQualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, or similar field5+ years engineering experience in railway, aerospace or similar industries (project management experience is a plus)Base knowledge of energy distribution, traction systems, IT-systems and onboard network controlExtensive leadership experience and strong team skillsExcellent problem-solving skillsBusiness fluent in English (German is a plus)Experience in electrical / mechanical design (e.g. Catia V5)Experience with schematic software (e.g. E3 or Ruplan)Experience with PLM systems and ECN systems (e.g. SmarTeam)Excellent technical writing skills (Office suite)What we offerStadler US employee benefits package includes:
