An established manufacturing facility is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead and oversee daily operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in food production, particularly in a regulatory environment, and possess in-depth knowledge of Safe Quality Food (SQF) certification standards. Being fluent in English and Spanish is a major plus, as it will enhance communication and team leadership within the facility. The Plant Manager will be responsible for managing plant activities, ensuring product quality, and leading a dedicated team.salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: BachelorsResponsibilities Operations Management: Oversee daily plant operations to maintain production efficiency, safety, and quality. Develop and implement production schedules to align with customer demand. Monitor production processes and make adjustments to optimize efficiency. Quality Assurance: Maintain compliance with SQF certification and other relevant food safety regulations. Implement quality control procedures to maintain product standards. Conduct regular audits and inspections to address quality issues proactively. Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor production staff to foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Cost Management: Monitor and manage production costs, implementing measures to control expenses. Identify areas for cost reduction and increased efficiency. Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present reports on production metrics, quality issues, and operational improvements to upper management.
