Silver Springs Bottled Water Co., 2445 NW 42nd Street, Ocala, FL 34475Seeking BLOW MOLDING TECHNICIAN in Ocala, FloridaResume requiredThis is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, weekends and on-call as needed Candidates must be flexible as needed due to 24/7 high speed production requirements.This position reports to the Blow Molding Manager and is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, operating and overseeing high speed, high efficiency Uniloy continuous extrusion Blow Molding machines and part packaging lines. Daily supervision of equipment and Team Members to meet department production goals.Duties include but are not limited to:Oversee High Speed High Efficiency Blow Molding Machines and Part Packaging LinesOperate Blow Molding Machines, Start/Stop, Make set up Changes and Mold ChangesMake appropriate adjustments to machines to affect efficient production levels and document appropriately; respond to quality issuesCollaborate with Blow Molding Manager to Develop, recommend, and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of productEnsure Quality Standards of Parts and Manufacturing Processes are metComplete Routine Inspections of ProductEnsure a safe work EnvironmentMaintain a Tour Ready Facility that will meet or exceed any Customer, Inspector or Auditor Requirements. Organization, cleanliness, safety, etc.Responsible for maintaining the Safety and security of area, employees, visitors.Maintain Compliance with all regulatory agencies i.e.: OSHA, FDA, DEP and others dealt with to produce our productEnsure Machine reliability by performing preventative maintenance schedulesCollaborate with Blow Molding Manager on Scheduling Preventative Maintenance.Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on Production equipment as well as Auxiliary EquipmentCommunicate with Blow Molding Manger to ensure sufficient spare parts stockSupport Blow Molding Manger in Hiring, Training, Supervising and Disciplining area personnelSupervise Production Team members and assist as needed to ensure efficiency and productivityTrain and Develop Production Team MembersBe Self-motivated to be able to work independently at times and possess a customer focused mentalityWilling to work extended hours to meet customer needs including being on callConsistent and reliable attendance is criticalAll other duties and responsibilities assigned by the department manager and/or senior management.Must have mechanical ability, aptitude and experience in bottle manufacturing preferred for our hands-on environment. Experience with Uniloy equipment helpful.
