By joining Ames, you will be working with talented colleagues at an award-winning, nationally recognized top 75 general contractor.An Operator operates several types of power construction equipment, such as compressors, pumps, hoists, derricks, cranes, shovels, tractors, dozers, scrapers, motor graders, and off-road rock trucks, to excavate, move, and grade earth. An operator will turn valves to control compressors and pumps' air and water output. Adjusts hand wheels and depresses pedals to drive machine and control attachments, such as blades, buckets, scrapers, and swing booms. Repairs and maintains equipment.Ames is looking for Scraper Operators who are safe, efficient, highly skilled, and productive operators for our projects in and near: Bagdad, AZOperator Apprentices are encouraged to apply as well.Basic Employment RequirementsBe committed to working safely and wearing all required safety equipment.Report any unsafe conditions or acts to your immediate supervisorPass a Pre-employment Drug Screen and Alcohol Test.
