About Us:Maldonado Nursery & Landscaping Inc. is seeking a creative PART-TIME Marketing Intern with strong content creation skills to join our Landscape Construction division in Austin. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to apply your marketing talents in a dynamic environment. This role will start off as a six-month internship but could extend longer if needed.
Role Overview:As a Marketing Intern, you will support our team by producing engaging content and conducting essential market research to drive our marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
Write blog posts, social media updates, and other marketing materials.Market Research:
Conduct surveys, interviews, and online research to understand the target market and competitors.Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
Apply SEO techniques to optimize content for higher search engine rankings.Social Media Management:
Use management tools to oversee content across multiple accounts and collaborate with team members.Content Calendar:
Assist in managing the content calendar for consistent posting.Campaign Collaboration:
Work with the marketing team on various campaigns.Content Performance Metrics:
Track and analyze the performance of content.Email Marketing:
Support email marketing efforts and campaigns.Brainstorming:
Participate in creative brainstorming sessions.Promotional Presentations:
Prepare promotional materials and presentations.Event Planning:
Assist with planning and hosting marketing events.Competitor Research:
Evaluate competitor marketing and digital content strategies.Marketing Materials Distribution:
Help distribute marketing materials effectively.
Qualifications Required
-Willing to work on a part-time basis
-Students/recent graduates who are pursuing or have received a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar
-Willing to work onsite in North Austin
-Experience with content creation and social media
-Experience with Adobe Photoshop or Canva preferred
