This role offers an excellent springboard for a rewarding career in tax, with exposure to cutting-edge issues and high-profile clients, all while enjoying a flexible work arrangement that promotes work-life balance.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this hybrid role, you will:Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities, leveraging both in-office resources and remote work capabilitiesConduct research on complex tax issues and prepare comprehensive memorandaAssist in tax planning and structuring for various transactions, collaborating virtually and in-person with team members and clientsHelp prepare tax provisions and disclosures for financial statementsAnalyze and interpret tax laws, regulations, and rulingsAssist in representing clients in tax examinations and disputes with tax authorities, through both virtual and in-person meetingsContribute to the preparation of client presentations and proposalsStay current with changes in tax legislation and regulationsParticipate in client meetings and conference calls, both virtually and in-person as neededAssist in developing and maintaining client relationships through various communication channelsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years of experience in tax, preferably in a public accounting or professional services environmentStrong knowledge of tax laws and regulationsPrevious experience in tax preparation and complianceProficient in tax software and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in both remote and in-office settingsStrong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both virtually and in-personCPA certification or actively pursuing CPA is preferredAdaptability to work effectively in a hybrid environmentPreferred SkillsExperience with corporate tax, partnership tax, and individual tax issuesFamiliarity with tax research tools and databasesKnowledge of financial statements and accounting principlesExperience in specific industries (e.g., financial services, technology, real estate) a plusProficiency in virtual collaboration tools and remote work technologiesBenefitsCompetitive salary range: $65K - $115K, commensurate with experienceHybrid work model, balancing in-office collaboration with remote work flexibilityPerformance-based bonus potentialComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) plan with company matchGenerous paid time off and holidaysParental leaveBusiness casual dress code for in-office daysOpportunities for community involvement and volunteer workProfessional development and continuing education supportMentorship programs and clear career progression pathsState-of-the-art technology and resources to support seamless hybrid workGrowth and DevelopmentOur client is committed to nurturing your career growth in this hybrid work environment.
