Overview:
The Account Manager position requires a high level of attention to detail. Requires flexibility, adaptability, coordination, and superb communication skills. Most often, the Account Manager will be required to liaise and coordinate efforts between the Transition Team and the Board of Directors. Additionally, the teammate will provide support and training to on-site staff, and occasionally visiting sites to fill vacant managerial/administrative positions. The account manager works closely with the Transition Manager.Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (May include some or
all of
the following as applicable)Assesses property conditions and tailors action list items based off inspection results and recommendations from the Board.Communicates and facilitates the successful exchange of information to/from attorneys, management companies, insurance agents, and Board members to ensure a smooth transition.Implements Castle Groups culture, standards, and core values to new and existing sites.As needed, may complete weekly reports to communicate the transition status of a new account.Trains the onsite team on Castle Procedures and Systems, including but not limited to, safety and Royal Services procedures.Conducts and facilitates meetings and presentations for Board members and staff.Participate in weekly communications of new accounts from the Transition Team.Audits all contractual (Operation) promises made to clients.Acts as interim Property Manager and participates in the talent acquisition cycle when needed.Conducts the Roadmap Presentation to a Board of DirectorsObtains Signatures on all documents pertaining to start-up of accounts. Ability to explain what each document pertains to.Picks up records from prior managementConducts a turnover meeting with the manager of a new associationCollects all necessary information during the turnover to be able to effectively run the officeTakes pictures of the site and office during the turnover and after organizing their filesReviews all on-site forms (ARC, Sales & Leasing, etc.) and advises the Transition Team when they have made the necessary changesAssists the Transition Team with filling out the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for a new associationConducts the inventory of records with the support of the Transition TeamConducts the Post-Transition summary for the Board President
Qualifications:Education/Training/Certifications/Licenses:High School Diploma requiredActive CAM License requiredBachelors in Business Administration preferredKnowledge & Skills:Team player and ability to adapt to a constant changing environment.Excellent communication skills are a must.Conducting presentations/meetings in front of board members and/or property managers will be required occasionally.Superb critical thinking and solution driven mentality with the ability to perform in high pressure situations.Working knowledge of OSHA Standards and property maintenance procedures.Ability to work under tight deadlines and use time effectively based on key priorities.Organizational skills are required.Computer literacy:High command of computer hardware/software is required. Specifically, intermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.Travel and availability requirements:Able to travel long distances on a regular basis to different locations in their region and act as an additional resource in other regions.Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on project requirement.Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner, 24-7.Some over-night travel may be necessary.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time, will fluctuate day by dayExtensive use of fingers for typing and visual use of the computer monitorCommunicate, receive and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word;Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functionsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.?
