Responsible for developing strong partnerships with business leaders and coaching and developing managers and front-line leaders, analyzing business information and leading HR and business project initiatives; proactively engaging in employee relations issues, managing candidate selection and employee development activities; and managing programs, policies and procedures in support of our business culture.Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:Collaborates with local facility leadership to get input on HR decisions and ensures the delivery of high-quality HR processesSupervises HR Generalist and/or HR CoordinatorEvaluates potential issues or service needs and formulates strategic responsesDevelops and implements facility-staffing strategies inclusive of community outreachDemonstrates employee advocacy and develops a reputation as a neutral and approachable HR professional serving all employeesMediates difficult employee relations and/or other interactions as a neutral partyLeads talent management, employee development, and succession planning initiativesCommunicates benefit-related changes and assists employees with questions regarding benefitsDesigns (as needed), revises, and communicates HR policies and proceduresAssures local facility complies with all federal, state, and local laws governing employmentDesigns and maintains affirmative action plan by conducting statistical analysis and documenting progress in the AAPMeasures performance in the areas of human resources and safety and presents information to corporate management and customersManages the employees performance evaluation and career development processAssists leadership team with budget formulation and managementDesigns programs and policies to cultivate a strong customer service culture in the HR functionProvides value-added services including strategic management, leadership development, and project managementMay be assigned as a subject-matter expert on one or more human resource disciplines for the companySupport training initiatives, training and programsOther projects or duties as assigned
Qualifications:Required Skills and Experience:Bachelors Degree with 6+ years of related experience and 3+ years of management experience

High School Diploma/GED with 9+ years of related experience and 4+ years of management experienceSelf-motivated and disciplined team playerStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to creatively solve problems in a fast-paced environmentSound organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task to ensure deadlines are metExhibit a sense of urgency and focus on results while remaining flexibleProfessional self-presentationProven track record of developing successful customer/business partnershipsDemonstrated ability to anticipate business needs, think proactively and respond appropriatelyProficient with the Microsoft Office suite with intermediate Excel skillsAbility to effectively navigate and utilize various HRIS programsUp to 25% travel to local facilitiesThis position must pass a post-offer background and drug testPreferred Skills and Experience:Master's DegreeHRM, PHR or SPHR certificationExperience supporting professional corporate environmentsExperience supporting multi-shift environments (ie distribution or manufacturing) preferredExperience working in supply chain, transportation, distribution, logistics or manufacturingPhysical Demands and Work Environment:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.?
