Job Summary

The Principal Angular Developer will play a critical role in delivering next-generation pricing platforms in the cloud as part of a multiyear initiative to modernize pricing capabilities. Based in Westlake, TX, this role involves hands-on development using Angular 16 and providing technical leadership to the development team. The developer will focus on enhancing user experience, building common component libraries, and mentoring junior team members, while ensuring scalable, resilient cloud-based solutions are delivered.

Key Responsibilities

•Hands-on development of Angular 16+ Single Page Applications (SPA) and micro frontends.

•Lead the design and implementation of UX standards and common component libraries.

•Integrate Angular applications with microservices and orchestration platforms.

•Perform UI testing using frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, and Playwright.

•Build and deploy cloud-enabled applications using 12-factor app design principles.

•Utilize continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins).

•Collaborate with product management to gather requirements, decompose epics into stories, and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations.

•Provide mentorship to junior developers and foster a culture of continuous learning.

•Offer outstanding support, including on-call support when necessary.

Required Qualifications

•Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related field.

•6+ years of hands-on experience with Angular (currently working with Angular 16+).

•Experience with UI testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, Playwright, etc.

•Familiarity with building and documenting sharable web components using Storybook.

•Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization technologies like ECS and Docker.

•Experience deploying cloud-enabled applications on platforms like AWS, using 12-factor design principles.

•Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools, such as Jenkins.

•Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

•Familiarity with Micro Frontend architecture.

•Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or others.

•Experience mentoring and providing technical leadership to junior developers.
