Overview
Responsible for assisting in developing and implementing IEA's finance and accounting initiatives, processes, and internal controls. This position will manage a variety of responsibilities, interact with multiple layers of management, and meet deadlines in a growing and profitable construction business within MasTec Clean Energy and Infrastructure.
Location:
This is a hybrid position, which can be based in the Indianapolis, IN area. This position supports our business across the United States.

MasTec's Clean Energy and Infrastructure Group (CE&I) is a $4 billion annual revenue business unit that provides construction services for industrial facilities; building products manufacturers, power generation facilities, manufacturing plants; solar, wind, and thermal energy plants; buildings, and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Lead annual budgeting process and monthly re-forecasting of revenue and expense, and providing direction to the financial analystLead consolidation and analysis of the mid-month estimate, month-end close, monthly forecast packages, annual plan and other reports for the MasTec Renewables groupCoordinate the preparation of monthly financial reports (including monthly variance analysis to budget and forecast)Perform cash flow forecasting and optimize certain cash management processesCreate and manage file sharing and storage structure for the Renewables finance and accounting teamPerform ad hoc reporting and analysis for managementSupport the Accounting department with various accounting and reporting deliverables for quarterly and annual financial statement filingsSupport the management team with ongoing integration and standardization efforts with MasTec and MasTec Renewables across accounting processes, systems, internal controls, etc.Qualifications
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting5 years' of experience in auditing, accounting and/or financial management, with large SEC filerExperience in the construction or related industry using percentage of completion accounting preferredAuditing, accounting and financial reporting, financial modeling and cash flow forecasting experience requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex issues to senior managementAbility to work across various areas of the business, including effective communication with people of different backgrounds and levelsStrong financial acumen with ability and desire to dig into details and challenge key inputs and assumptions and interpret financial dataAdvanced Excel, Power BI, Hyperion, and Sharepoint user (super user a plus) and experience with large ERP accounting systemsPassionate about data qualityTeam player/able to work well with colleagues at all levels of the organizationFinancial Wellbeing
