We are seeking an Cyber Security focused Senior Solutions Engineer to join our team in Portland, OR or Seattle, WA. Our engineers are the foundation of success for our customers and our business. The Senior Solutions Engineer is part of an exceptional team of Engineers and Architects that partner with and work as trusted advisors for our customers. This role provides both pre- and post-sales consultation, design, and implementation support and oversight.
Our Senior Solutions Engineers have diverse backgrounds and typically include a combination of experience in: Engineering, technical aptitude across several technologies, and are skilled at developing a broad and deep understanding of our customer's requirements. This position will mentor other engineers and assist with creating bill of materials, statements of work, and technical proposal components. This role performs the following responsibilities:Clearly communicates technical information to customers including technical and non-technical staffWorks with Solutions Architects to create and evaluate system designsCollaborates with customers on solution designs and deploymentsMaintains Expert Level Certifications in their technical areas of focusEngages and assists Solutions Engineers with key strategic accountsProvides both the pre-sales designs and mentor post-sales implementations with engineering peersDevelops deployment standards for CompuNet's diverse Customer base and verticals. Ensures deployment standards and best practices are reflected in Statements of Work (SOW). Engages with other Senior Solutions Engineers, as well as local Solutions Architects, to improve and maintain deployment standards within CompuNetAssists Engineering Directors and Managers in identifying professional services opportunities and with recruiting and hiring effortsPairs with Engineering Directors and Managers to review project scopes for validationAssists with bill of materials, statements of work, technical proposal componentsOther duties as assignedWho you are

They have well-developed communication skills and can demonstrate proven technical ability, refined relationship management skills, and problem-solving skills. They have experience with a mix of advanced on-prem, hybrid and cloud technologies, IT operations, and strategic business acumen.
Successful team members have prior experience in delivering consulting engagements, managing customer expectations, and should have a broad understanding of many of the following concepts with advanced to expert proficiency in at least one:Security Frameworks (CIS, NIST, Etc.)EDR/XDR/NDRSIEM//LoggingSOARSecOps/DevSecOpsSecurity AutomationOT/IOT SecurityIncident ResponseVulnerability ManagementFirewall/IPSNACApplication Security/WAFPrivileged Access ManagementIdentity/MFACryptography/PKIManaged Detection and ResponseData Loss PreventionOur ideal candidate would also have the following skills, experience, or education:
