Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Responsibilities:
Provide electrical and power expertise for product-related inquiries.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical and mechanical components.Design Industrial Control Panels (ICP) per UL508a standards.Specify and document electrical installations for Industrial Prefabricated Buildings (IPB).Work with equipment such as panel boards, switchboards, motor control centers, UPS, and drives.Execute calculations in UL508a or NEC, and design up to 1000V.Develop one-line drawings and review project packages to determine equipment needs.Perform equipment inspections and tests prior to shipment.Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology from an ABET accredited institution.3-5 years of electrical engineering experience (journeyman or instrument tech experience acceptable).Minimum 2 years of design experience.Pursuing FE exam (PE licensure a plus).Knowledge of NEC, hazardous atmospheres, international standards, drives, and programmable controllers.Experience with CSA, NFPA, and NRTL applications (UL/cUL).Familiarity with PLCs, power distribution, relay logic, and voltages up to 480VAC.Ability to travel 25-30%.
