Seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to join a large Satellite Program in Carson City, NV
Job Description
As a Manufacturing Test Engineer, you will support PCBA test and debug at a contract manufacturer (CM) in Carson City, NV. You will program and execute functional testing of PCBAs, diagnose nonconformance's identified during testing, document defects for communication back to the PCBA manufacturing team and CM, and coordinate PCBA rework to repair defects. You will also deploy functional testing and PCBA debug at the CM, support electrical debug of PCBAs, and train staff at the CM on programming, testing, and electrical debug of PCBAs. This role requires up to 30% travel.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.5+ years' experience with debugging PCBA designs that include microprocessors, FPGAs, power supplies, and/or sensors.Experience with circuit-level debug to the component level.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience delivering test solutions to manufacturing facilities.Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing manufacturing test strategies for electrical subassemblies.IPC-A-610 certification or familiarity.Experience testing, troubleshooting, and debugging RF electronics.Programming experience in Python, C#, C++, or MATLAB.Experience writing software to control test equipment and devices under test (DUTs) using standard software tools.Experience designing PCBAs of medium-to-high complexity.Compensation Range: $50-$60/hr
