ICF is seeking a Cybersecurity Strategist for a program responsible for ensuring critical infrastructure protection and resilience through effective collaboration between federal, private sector, and academic entities.
The Cybersecurity Strategist will support strategic collaboration initiatives that are developed internally and externally to enhance critical infrastructure and the U.S. cyber ecosystem. They will also support stakeholder engagement, program management and event execution.
What You Will Be Doing:
Develop and maintain operational plans and program management plans for strategic initiativesConduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate cyber risksCoordinate and facilitate joint cyber defense exercise and training eventsAssist in developing incident response plans and proceduresSupporting information sharing initiatives to improve collaboration among stakeholdersMonitor and evaluate the effectiveness of operational plans and make recommendations for improvementCoordinate with internal partners to ensure all parties are aligned on actions and expectationsCollaborate with internal and external partners to identify cyber threats and vulnerabilities
Basic Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship required (required by federal government for position)Active Secret security clearance requiredAt least 3 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting DHS programs or initiativesStrong technical writing and editing skillsFamiliarity with project management approaches and conceptsDemonstrated customer service orientation with strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skillsAbility to work effectively in a collaborative team environmentAdditional Skills:
Operational planning experienceKnowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practicesFamiliarity with relevant national incident response and coordination policies and relevant structuresExperience supporting a government agency in an onsite or hybrid positionExperience working across government and private sector organizations to meet goals and objectivesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExpertise in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project

Pay Range
- There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:$71,958.00 - $122,328.00
