Position OverviewApex Dermatology & Skin Surgery Center is a rapidly growing, skincare facility that empowers employees to deliver exceptional patient experiences. We are currently looking for talented, highly motivated and skilled candidates for the role of Director of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to join our dynamic team. The Director of RCM will play a pivotal role in optimizing our revenue cycle operations, from organizational design, leadership, and thoughtful guidance to the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, business acumen, and the ability to communicate clearly to non-Revenue Cycle stakeholders. This position reports directly to the CFO and oversees a talented team of 12 15 individuals.This position requires legal authorization to work in the US.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Leadership:
Provide leadership, supervision, coaching and guidance to the RCM team to achieve organizational and departmental goalsDevelop and maintain strategic relationship with PHO partner to ensure alignment of company goals and efficient and effective revenue cycle operationsResponsible for creating and maintaining a sustainable organizational design to support the growing needs of the businessPartner with Apex leadership team to provide strategic solutions and operational efficienciesRevenue Cycle Operations:Oversee the entire revenue cycle process, including patient registration, billing, collections, claims processing, and other tasksDevelop and implement strategies to optimize revenue generation and minimize financial risksCreate a performance-based culture, driven by metrics and productivity; monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports to hold the revenue cycle team accountable and allow for actionable insight to Apex leadershipDevelop policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy in billing operationsLead the managed care efforts of the company, including benchmarking of existing contracts, management of PHO / payors, and contract re-negotiations as neededEnsure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards related to billing and revenue managementStay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, and adjust processes accordinglyPartner with IT and other departments to implement and maintain revenue cycle management software and toolsLead initiatives for process improvement and technology upgrades to enhance revenue cycle operationsOther duties as assignedQualificationsBachelors degree required; masters degree or MBA preferred or commensurate experience in lieu of degree15+ years of revenue cycle experience, 10+ years management experienceStrong knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, collections, and reimbursement processesProficiency in using healthcare management software and electronic health records (EHR) systemsAbility to work independently; excellent follow-through, multitasking and client-facing skillsAbility to communicate effectively in both oral and written form; interact positively and constructively with staff, clients, and other members of Apex leadershipSelf-motivated with a positive and exceptional work ethic and attention to detailAbility to educate and train other staff members, and implement project plans within scheduled timelinesExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearlyAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesCertification in Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) or similar is preferredProficient with Microsoft Office suiteAbout Us.......Who We AreWe are Apex Dermatology & Skin Surgery Center.
