Description
Position Summary
While working as a Large Format Production Specialist, you will be tasked with fulfilling duties related to prepping and quality checking substrates, pre and post-production, and operating the large format equipment to produce various types of signage. The person in this position assists with the Production department by, ensuring jobs meet internal quality control standards and have a smooth installation process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Understand different substrates and prepare them to be printedSet up, operate, and trouble shoot various large format equipment independentlyAccurately assist to install a variety of signage and large format materials using power and hand tools, adhesives, stud finders and leveling equipmentReview job box for accuracy and report errors as neededComplete quality control inspections and create packaging for finished jobsCollaborate with multiple team members to ensure job completion by due dateInput finished jobs into the internal ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systemRegular, reliable, and punctual attendanceOther duties as assignedNonessential Duties and Responsibilities
Work on job assignments in other departments as instructedRequirements
Qualifications
A High School Diploma is required and some
prior experience or training in print is highly preferredPerforming this job successfully requires that an individual have a solid understanding of computers, data entry, internet searches, the Microsoft Office suite and email applicationsMathematical abilities required by this job include reading a ruler, calculating simple costs, and other basic mathematical skillsExcellent Communication SkillsWhile performing the duties of this job, one is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time. Additionally, reaching with hands and arms is regularly required to walk, stoop, and bend over and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.While performing the duties of this job, the associate regularly works in close proximity to moving mechanical parts, as well as other employees. Additionally, the noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud, and usually consists of light machinery, nearby printers, and other employees conversing.Proactive thinker/problem solver
