UCI Health serves a region of nearly 4 million people in Orange County, western Riverside County and southeast Los Angeles County.To learn more about UCI Health, visit www.ucihealth.org.Responsibilities:Position Summary:The incumbent will be responsible for creating and maintaining enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using electronic health data specifically for reporting on Epic Beaker metrics. The incumbent will work on a multidisciplinary team of developers within the Enterprise Data and Analytics Department and will collaborate with other institutions across the University of California Health. The incumbent will use UCI Health software such as Crystal Reports, SSIS, SSRS, Tableau, Epic Reporting Workbench, Epic Radar, and the enterprise data warehouse to deliver high quality reports and analytic solutions. The focus of this position is laboratory reporting for programs for enterprise. Required Qualifications:Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned dutiesMust demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the jobExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or combination of education and equivalent work experienceAbility to perform basic performance tuning to optimize queries to meet user needsAbility to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workloadAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System3+ years of experience with SQL3+ years of experience with MS SQL server or Oracle as well as reporting tools such as SSRS, Tableau, etc3+ year of data analytics experience using relational databases
Preferred Qualifications:Clarity Beaker Certification
5+ years of healthcare analytics experience
Experience utilizing Lean concepts including visibility walls, problem solving A3's, and Gemba rounding principles
5+ years of experience working with EPIC EHR
5+ years of experience with SSRS, SSIS, Crystal Reports, and Tableau
5+ Years of experience with quality metric reporting
3+ years of experience working with healthcare quality metrics
Experience using Collibra or similar Data Governance platform
Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation within a centralized code repository
Experience in software development life cycle
Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
