BBSI is seeking a proactive Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead our client's quality initiatives and ensure compliance with the FDA Food Code and industry regulations. This is your opportunity to make a lasting impact in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team.Key Responsibilities:Conduct thorough internal quality audits and compile comprehensive reports.Lead all customer and regulatory audits (FDA, SQF, 3rd-party) and ensure timely compliance updates.Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager to meet HACCP/GMP and food safety requirements.Partner with line supervisors to monitor and improve quality benchmarks.Ensure timely implementation of safety and quality measures in line with regulatory standards.Spearhead quality improvement projects and execute corrective action plans as necessary.Serve as the primary liaison to federal, state, and local regulatory bodies.Stay ahead of changes in customer and regulatory standards and adapt accordingly.Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions to mitigate risks.Inspect products, processes, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.Oversee and develop the quality team through coaching, training, and regulatory updates.Qualifications:4-5 years of food production experienceExperience in the food industry, preferably in a wet environment such as dairy, cheese, or yogurt.3+ years of experience managing teams of 3 or more in a fast-paced production environment.Expertise in HACCP & GMP guidelines.Proficient in MS Office, Email, MS Access Database, and Power BI.Certifications in HACCP, PCQI, and SQF preferred but not requiredExcellent communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills.Fluency in Spanish or Mandarin/Cantonese desiredFlexibility to work holidays and weekends when needed.Perks & Benefits:Comprehensive Group Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision)Paid Sick and Vacation Leave401(k) Matching
