We are looking for a Manager to join the FP&A Upmarket Card team. This individual will work cross-functionally across Upmarket Acquisitions and Marketing, FP&A and connected teams to support effective financial management of acquisitions and lead analysis in support of the Upmarket business. This Manager will report to the FP&A Upmarket Lead. Role requires strong communication, problem solving, strategic thinking and ability to collaborate cross-functionally in order to effectively: Articulate outcomes of analysis and relevant insights Able to critically evaluate data and option sets and present recommendations Partner with business leadership to assess the financial implications of acquisitions related activities and efforts to grow the organization Develop presentations to communicate business and analysis results to senior leadership audiences Effective under both open-ended and tight timelines General Responsibilities: Financial analysis & reporting: Accurately analyze & explain revenue and expense implications of acquisition decisions, report key updates to acquisition leadership as part of monthly management routines, accurately analyze & explain key drivers and monthly variance on the frontbook (i.e., new originations) Perform budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management related to Upmarket Acquisitions and associated Marketing Executive business presentations: Assist in development of presentations to communicate analysis results to senior audiences; clearly articulate outcomes of analysis to leadership teams Comfort working in white space and supporting ad-hoc requests on acquisition related topics and special projects Independently manage, prioritize, and delegate tasks Act as project lead for certain responsibilities to other analysts on the team Continuously evaluate processes; Develop and implement process improvements Express strong written and verbal communication skills Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or military experience At least 4 years experience in financial analysis At least 4 years experience with financial modeling Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master's Degree in Finance Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license 6+ years of experience in financial analysis and modeling 3+ years of experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function 1+ year of people management experience 1+ year of experience in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or a combination At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position Capital One offers a comprehensive, competitive, and inclusive set of health, financial and other benefits that support your total well-being.
