The Opportunity
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will drive excellence across the entire data lifecycle, including ingestion, modeling, quality, and availability. Your passion for data and commitment to technical excellence will empower you to create elegant solutions for a wide range of data challenges, shaping our entire technology stack. You will demonstrate self-leadership and mentor your peers, fostering a culture of growth and continuous improvement within the team.
How You'll Make A Difference Day To DayCollaborate and Solve: Work closely with diverse stakeholders to ingest and model complex datasets, ensuring they meet business needs and enable data-driven decisions.Optimize and Automate: Identify, design, and implement process improvements, automate manual processes, and optimize data delivery to scale our systems efficiently.Enhance Observability: Design and implement processes for data observability, usage metrics, and monitoring, ensuring the platform's reliability and performance.Required to work on-site 5x a week in our Coral Gables office.Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of data engineering, analytics engineering, or software development experience3+ years of strong data engineering design/development experience in building large-scale distributed data platforms/productsProficient in Python, SQLFamiliarity with Apache KafkaExperience with dbt and data modelingExperience building scalable, efficient data pipelines using Snowflake and other cloud-based data technologiesFamiliar with workflow management systems (Airflow, Argo Workflows, etc)Experience designing and implementing data ingestion platforms, interacting with multiple third-party data sources, and assembling them into actionable structuresAbility to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and peers>
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with a Security related SaaS productExperience in developing data architectures within greenfield effortsFamiliarity with applying Data Science algorithms and/or ML opsFamiliarity with distributed processing systems like Snowpark
