Job Overview:
As an Electrical Engineering Manager, you will be responsible first and foremost for the mentorship and success of your team - following this responsibility, job duties can range between any of the following. During the interview process, we'll work with you to find the areas in which you will be the most successful at SOE! What You Will Need:
Bachelor's degree (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering, or related field)7+ years in an electrical engineering design role for aerospace, hardware development, medical devices, renewable energy, or a related industry5+ years in a technical project management or leadership role in an engineering, production, or R&D environment3+ years of experience managing, mentoring, and guiding engineers in the design and development of novel electrical systemsBe a seasoned professional in full-cycle electronics design, an exceptional communicator, and an accomplished manager of engineering projects with novel technical requirementsWhat Would Be Useful:
Master's degree (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Engineering Management, Physics, or related field)Experience working in a startup/tech/consulting environment, prioritizing and managing numerous responsibilities concurrentlyFamiliarity with one or more aviation/aerospace, medical, automotive, or industrial certification processes, including DO-178C, DO-160, ISO 26262, IEC 60601Experience with C/C++ firmware development or Verilog HDL developmentAdditional Requirements:
Applicant must be willing to work 40 hours a week on-site in El Segundo, California, USAApplicant must be eligible to work on ITAR projectsJob Type: Full-time (Salary)ITAR Requirements:
