Overview:
JOB SUMMARY:Strategic procurement leader that directs liquid product or SSA procurement activities for U.S. Domestic Manufacturing Operations, ensuring that all products meet GSFs objectives for price, efficiency, and quality. Support International Divisions.Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Responsible for managing GSF strategic purchasing activities, including price negotiations (RFP), and managing contracts to ensure competitive pricing and strong supplier relationships. (30%)The Individual must work effectively with LPNA & KanPak commercialization, account managers, master data, supply chain of both locations, product developers, and the finance team to ensure continuity of supply and supply chain optimization and identify opportunities to reduce the cost of goods. (20%)Develop supplier and category strategies, utilizing the Golden Acceleration System (GAS), which includes evaluation of market dynamics, supplier strength and weakness, category value drivers, and supply/demand power analysis to obtain the lowest appropriate cost for ingredients while balancing continuity of supply, quality, and service levels. (10%)Collects and provides information to set up new suppliers and ingredients for LPNA & KanPak. (5%)Create and Manage Assured Supply projects in Workfront (10%)Evaluate the system-wide use of products, materials, and ingredients to assess productivity opportunities. (5%)Forecast raw material prices for quarterly pricing to support customers' pricing calendars. (5%)Interacts formally and informally with vendors to communicate GSF values, mission, and strategic directions to enhance their ability to help GSF reach its objectives. (5%)Administers the minority/diversity purchasing program, submitting quarterly reports to the customer to ensure diversity objectives are met. (5%)Supports and performs other related and assigned duties as necessary for the Director, Strategic Sourcing, and Golden Strategic Sourcing team.
Qualifications:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and experience equivalent to:Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or economics from an accredited college or university.Related Work Experience:
