Transit Bus OperatorWe are seeking individuals to join our team as Transit Bus Operators. No previous CDL experience is required to apply, as we will provide comprehensive training. As a Transit Bus Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our passengers and providing exceptional customer service. Duties include conducting pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections, communicating with dispatch, collecting passenger fare, and adhering to UTA guidelines and procedures. Completion of UTA's paid Bus Operator Training/Certification ProgramOne year in a customer service roleAt least 21 years of ageValid driver license with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 yearsNo convictions for driving under the influence in the past 10 yearsFamiliarity with Wasatch Front preferredObtain and maintain a DOT medical card (paid by UTA)Pass written Class B CDL test with Air Brakes and Passenger EndorsementEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to meet physical requirements of the jobPay Rate:

$20.00/hr during training, $21.44/hr after training with guaranteed pay increases every six months up to $25.69/hr over the next five yearsClose Date:
