Job Responsibilities
Goal Planning:
They start by understanding your short and long-term financial goals and then create a plan to achieve them, considering your unique circumstances.
Budgeting:
Advisors can help you create a budget to boost savings and manage expenses.
Investments:
They provide advice on your investment portfolio, including asset allocation, and recommend investment products like mutual funds and ETFs.
Retirement Planning:
Advisors assist with retirement planning, helping you navigate employersponsored plans like 401(k)s and other options such as IRAs.
Taxes:
While not all advisors handle tax filings, most can offer guidance considering current and future tax implications.
Insurance:
They can help determine if life insurance or annuity products are suitable for you.
Help client with financial planning.
Retirement plans or disabilities.
Act as a financial advisor.
Pick up a new account 1 weekly, (own book of business or they will help them to build one).
Handle and grow own book of business.
Qualifications
College educated, but not mandatory.
Mandatory Licenses:
Series 7 registered rep
Series 6
Series 63 or 65
Experience as a financial advisor of at least 1 year.
