BLN24 is looking for a Contract Managerto join our team.
Position Overview:
The Contracts Manager will join the Business Development team. This individual will have experience in managing contracts and subcontracts of all types at the Federal level and will apply business acumen and regulatory knowledge to contract/subcontract negotiation and management, corporate procurement functions, and support proposal development. The successful candidate will work closely on a day-to-day basis with program managers, operations, and BLN'S business development and capture team. This position is based in Tysons Corner, VA and will involve occasional local travel to client meetings and other BLN locations in the National Capitol Region (NCR).
Key Responsibilities:Serve as the BLN point of contact for contract/subcontract negotiation, administration, and customer contact in accordance with company policies.Experience maintaining Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contracts (IDIQ), Governmentwide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) and General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS).Manage the full life cycle of federal contracts with detailed contract files and documentation, including contract review, negotiation, execution, modification, and closeout.Monitor contract performance and deliverables to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.Ensure compliance with all federal contracting requirements, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS).Assist in screening and identifying organizational conflicts of interest (OCI) and develop prevention and/or mitigation strategies associated with actual or potential OCIs.Negotiate terms and conditions for non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, termination agreements and resolving contract disputes and disagreements between parties.Work closely with the business development team during the proposal phase to ensure compliance with solicitation requirements.Review and provide input on pricing strategies, terms, and conditions to maximize contract profitability while minimizing risk.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Contract Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).A minimum of eight (8) years of federal contract/subcontract administration experience.In-depth knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other federal contracting regulations.Proven experience managing complex federal contracts, including cost-reimbursement, fixed-price, and time-and-material contracts.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.Experience with Deltek CostpointCertified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or other relevant certification is a plus.Preferred Skills:
Experience working with defense, aerospace, or technology-related contracts.Knowledge of government procurement processes, including GSA schedules and IDIQ contracts.Familiarity with government accounting standards and cost principles.Benefits:
