Position Overview:

Yorktown Search Partners is conducting a confidential executive search for a highly experienced and strategic

Vice President of Investor Relations

to lead our client's investor communications and relationship management efforts. This senior role is critical to maintaining and enhancing our client's relationships with current and potential investors, ensuring that their investment strategies and performance are clearly and effectively communicated.

This is a commission-only position with no base salary, meaning your earnings will be based entirely on your performance and ability to generate successful business relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership:

Lead the investor relations function, overseeing the development and execution of investor communication strategies that align with our client's goals and values.Strategic Communication:

Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, articulating the company's vision, strategy, and financial performance with clarity and confidence.Investor Relations Strategy:

Develop and implement comprehensive investor relations strategies that support our client's business objectives and enhance investor confidence.Financial Reporting:

Oversee the preparation and presentation of detailed financial reports, including quarterly and annual reports, earnings releases, and investor presentations.Market Analysis:

Provide insights into market trends and their potential impact on the company's investment strategy and portfolio performance.Stakeholder Engagement:

Engage with key stakeholders, including investors, analysts, and the broader financial community, to foster transparency and trust.Event Management:

Lead the planning and execution of investor-related events, such as earnings calls, investor days, and property tours.Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure all investor communications are in full compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and best practices.Team Development:

Mentor and develop the investor relations team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred.10+ years of experience in investor relations, with a strong background in real estate investment or financial services.Demonstrated experience in leading investor relations for a public or private real estate firm.Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.Deep understanding of financial markets, real estate investment strategies, and regulatory requirements.Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders.Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
