Job Summary: FabricatorAs a fabricator, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling metal parts and structures according to engineering drawings and specifications. Your role involves using various tools, equipment, and techniques to fabricate components used in manufacturing, construction, and other industries. You will work with metals such as steel, aluminum, and alloys, ensuring precision and quality in every fabricated piece. Collaboration with engineers, designers, and other team members is essential to ensure projects are completed accurately and efficiently.
Seeking a qualified fabricator/welder to perform skilled work in the following areas including, but not limited to :Fabrication (layout, fit-up, welding, grindingMaterial handling (overhead crane, forklift, etc.)Cutting and general formingMachine maintenance and repairPick-up and delivery of parts, product, and materialsPreferred Skills :Prior experience fabricating steel, aluminum and/or stainless steelUnderstanding of various welding processes including, but not limited to, MIG and FCAWAbility to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbolsPrior overhead crane and forklift experienceMinimum Requirements :High School diploma or GEDMust be 18 years or olderEnglish as primary languageReliable mode of transportationAbility to pass background check and drug screeningAccuracy and attention to detailWillingness to learn and take on additional responsibilityAdherence to company safety standards and practicesAbility to work individually or as part of a teamCapable of multitasking and seamlessly switching between projectsAbility to work overtime when necessaryPhysical Requirements/Working Conditions :The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
