Greater New York City Neurology jobI am recruiting for a very well respected private practice Neurology group located in Suburban New York City (Northeast New Jersey, 25 miles from downtown NY City). There are currently 5 Neurologist and one Nurse Practitioner within the group, all doing general Neurology, along with doing procedures related to their subspecialty training. The Group would like to find a Neurology candidate who is fellowship trained. THEY are open to other fields of sub-specialty training as long candidates understand there will be some general Neurology work within the practice. The practice is affiliated with the new medical school at Hackensack/Seton Hall, and there is an opportunity to be on the faculty at the medical school. Hackensack is a level 4 epilepsy center and a comprehensive stroke center. They have 2 offices, both located in this very nice area of Northeast New Jersey. They offer a competitive salary for this market, with an opportunity for partnership after two years if you desire to do so. There will be no buy-in. They offer a full benefits package as well. Call will be 1 in 6. They pull call 1 week at a time, Monday through Sunday, with rounding at the hospitals on the weekend. There is some ER call, at the hospital with the C.T.C. They average about 2 calls per mth, by phone from home. On occasion youd have to go to the ER to care for the patient. This Group has an excellent reputation within Northeast New Jersey. A big reason for that is their patient centric practice philosophy. You would have one hour to spend with a new patient, and a half an hour for their follow ups.
