Job Description
Primary function of this position is to assist the Global Test and Measurement Operations Finance team in providing business decision support to US manufacturing plants, inclusive of manufacturing and non-manufacturing departments. Provide financial leadership with the month-end close process ensuring product cost integrity and inventory controls. Analyze and understand the financial results inclusive of preparing financial reports with variance analysis and applicable commentary. Primary function of this position is to assist the Global Test and Measurement Operations Finance team in providing business decision support to US manufacturing plants, inclusive of manufacturing and non-manufacturing departments. Provide financial leadership with the month-end close process ensuring product cost integrity and inventory controls. Analyze and understand the financial results inclusive of preparing financial reports with variance analysis and applicable commentary. Primary function of this position is to assist the Global Test and Measurement Operations Finance team in providing business decision support to US manufacturing plants, inclusive of manufacturing and non-manufacturing departments. Job Duties
Collaborate with Ops Finance team to provide Global Test and Measurement Manufacturing Operations monthly financial results, preparing required financial reports, COGS variance analysis and commentary of the key drivers
Own and build models to calculate and load Budget/Forecasts at Cost Center, Plant and Business unit level.Responsible for pulling together the Budgets/Forecasts for the Global Test and Measurement Manufacturing facilities. Provide financial leadership to the operation team with prioritization of resources, to deliver financial and operational results consistent with company objectives
Drive cost reduction/efficiency improvement projects with the Test and Measurement Operations Team by providing financial support and analysis on production costs and modelling production cost reduction initiatives
Gross margin analysis of Test and Measurement related products
Partner with Procurement team providing analysis and support for negotiations
Prepare, devise, and regulate procedures for establishing unit cost for Test and Measurement products
Lead Global Test and Measurement operations process for developing and tracking of KPIs and provide oversight to operational partners with achievement to goals
Provide structured business analysis (ROI, IRR, payback) analyze cost of capital for Capex Business cases operations team with project prioritization and execution
Support internal and external audits
Ad hoc analysis
Collaborate with Ops Finance team to provide Global Test and Measurement Manufacturing Operations monthly financial results, preparing required financial reports, COGS variance analysis and commentary of the key drivers
Job Requirements
Education:
BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; MBA a plus
Experience:
7-10 years ofexperience exhibiting growth with a global manufacturing company
Self-starter with aptitude to drive process improvement
Ability to work in a complex manufacturing environment
Demonstrated ability to use different modelling techniques, for consistent results. Proficient in use of Hyperion or similar Reporting tools to develop Financial Reports and models
Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to analytical problems, making use of spreadsheets, databases, statistical packages, and graphics
Japanese language skills a plus
Ability to analyze large amounts of data
Skills:
Comprehensive knowledge of business operations, finance and IT systems is necessary. Strong analytical and communication (verbal and written) skills are essential
Other Considerations (travel/hours availability, etc.):
May require occasional travel to support global manufacturing sites
