A client-focused, independent, fee-only financial planning and investment management firm dedicated to helping clients achieve their financial goals is searching for an Associate Wealth Advisor to join their practice. As a Wealth Advisor Associate / Paraplanner, you will play a vital role in supporting financial advisors and delivering exceptional service to clients, offering a great opportunity for detail-oriented professionals to gain hands-on experience in financial planning, investment analysis, and client relationship management.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with financial advisors to develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, including tailored investment strategies and retirement projections
Conduct thorough research on financial products and investment strategies to support advisor recommendations
Prepare and maintain accurate client records, financial analyses, and detailed reports
Assist in the preparation for client meetings, ensuring timely follow-up on all action items
Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional service and addressing their financial planning needs
Network with local businesses and community organizations to promote the firm's services and expand business opportunities
Stay updated on financial regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and deliver relevant, up-to-date advice
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
SIE or FPQP certification required; Series 65/66 must be obtained within the first two years of employment
Experience in financial planning or paraplanning is preferred but not mandatory
Demonstrates self-confidence, personal integrity, and a strong understanding of fiduciary responsibility
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
Skilled in networking with businesses and local communities to foster relationships and generate business opportunities
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
Target base salary of $45k + bonus. This figure can vary depending on factors such as skillset and experience level.
