Description
Fluidra is seeking a Lifts Assembler to join the team at our S.R. Smith office in Portland, TN. PRIMARY PURPOSE
Follow specific work instructions, diagrams and techniques learned on the job to complete a variety of sequential steps to finish a complete lift assembly for any of the lifts in our product line (i.e. AXIS, Pal, Splash, or Multi).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Checks parts inventory at work station to assure all needed components to complete daily tasks are available
Assures that work log is available for the purpose of logging completed tasks which must be scanned toward the end of the shift
Checks all PPE required for the position and assures it is ll in good condition
Keeps work station neat and orderly throughout the shift
Requests assistance from department lead, supervisor or engineering when there are inconsistencies in methods required, materials, or other out of ordinary conditions
Performs required test on sub-assemblies and completed assemblies as required and affixes QC sticker upon completion
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May be asked to cross-train on other jobs within the lift or other production areas based upon skill level or be trained to perform said work
Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
High School graduate or equivalent preferred but not required
Good hand-eye coordination
Logical thought process skills
Safety minded (good discipline with safe behaviors and actions)
Prefer 1 to 3 years of industrial manufacturing experience

Position starts at $18.00/ hour.
