Summary
The Financial Analysis Lead Analyst works within the Retail Network Pricing and Guarantees support team embedded within the Supply Chain organization. The lead analyst will perform all financial modeling and analysis for retail pharmacy network negotiations. Responsible for managing all aspects of pharmacy contractual guarantees. Analyst will conduct routine analysis on guarantee performance and make pharmacy pricing recommendations to management in order to meet the guarantees. Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required. Work closely with the financial analysis senior manager on the team.
Essential Functions
Perform financial modeling for all chain and independent pharmacy retail network contract negotiations
Communicate modeling results to business partners and respond to questions
Provide pricing and analytical support for new contracting initiatives
Monitor contracted and forecasted retail payable rates in alignment with enterprise financial goals
Manage pharmacy pricing in order to meet contractual guarantees
Review pharmacy contracts and ensuring that all guarantees are accounted for
Monitor and adjust pricing and reporting of pharmacy guarantee performance
Enter and maintain provider rates in adjudication system
Analyze and identify performance trends and/or variances
Cross Functional support of internal business partners through ad hoc projects
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree strongly desired (preferably in mathematics, business, accounting or finance)
At least 1 – 3 years of business analysis, modeling, pricing or data management experience preferred
Analytical, highly organized, able to work with little supervision, motivated to successfully meet deadlines, attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Good understanding of other Microsoft office products.
Data extraction and analysis skills in SQL and Teradata are a plus
Capability to prepare and present concepts and proposals to all levels of management
Excellent Communication skills, oral and written
