JD Edwards Finance Business Analyst

The JD Edwards (JDE) Finance Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing financial business processes and system improvements using JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. This role focuses on ensuring that JDE applications meet the needs of the finance department while optimizing efficiency and performance across financial systems. The JDE Finance Business Analyst will collaborate closely with finance teams, IT, and other departments to support day-to-day operations, resolve system issues, and implement enhancements in JDE finance modules.Key Responsibilities:Analyze current finance processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement or optimization using JD Edwards.Design, configure, and implement solutions in JDE that enhance financial workflows, accounting, reporting, and other finance-related operations.Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into system specifications and process improvements.Provide functional support and expertise for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne financial modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting.Troubleshoot and resolve issues within JDE related to finance operations, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.Collaborate with IT teams to test and implement system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to JDE financial modules.Lead or participate in finance-related projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and process improvements.Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.Develop detailed project plans and documentation, ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed of project progress.Design and generate financial reports within JD Edwards to support management decision-making and financial analysis.Analyze financial data and reporting needs to create custom reports, dashboards, and queries in JDE.Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all financial reporting processes.Provide end-user training and support for JD Edwards finance users, including documentation of system processes, training guides, and troubleshooting manuals.Develop and maintain system documentation for configuration changes, enhancements, and business processes.Work closely with finance, IT, and other business units to ensure seamless integration of JDE systems across the organization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any system or process-related issues affecting finance operations.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.JD Edwards certification or specialized training in JDE finance modules is a plus.8+ years of experience working with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne in a finance or IT business analyst role.Hands-on experience with JDE financial modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles and practices.Proven track record of implementing and optimizing JD Edwards solutions in a finance environment.*No third party candidates or sponsorship offered.
