Scope of Position

To handle the incoming and outgoing freight that passes over our dock.

Responsibilities and Duties

On-handing Cargo

ETMS knowledge/running the on-handing script

Enter on-hand data correctly and timely into the system.

Cargo Handling

Offload and load trucks with provided lift equipment per company policies and procedures

Warehouse automation script is used to identify cargo location and corresponding cargo

Lift equipment is used safely to assemble cargo into receiving positions and operator damage is mitigated

Consolidate parcel shipments as required

Prepare ULD’s

Untie Nets

Cut Plastic

Load cargo safely with provided lift equipment

Tie netting

Labeling and shipping of air freight

Monitor the processing of HAWBs and collect sheets as they accumulate

Ensure EI destination labels match shipping label to prevent misroutes

Use automation script to ensure shipping accuracy

Warehouse cargo manifests checked, paperwork signed, and trailers sealed

MISC

Warehouse housekeeping (trash removal, work stations neat and orderly, floors swept)

Qualifications:

High School degree or equivalent

Fork lift certification required within 6 months of employment

Have a driver’s license

Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
