Job Responsibilities • Design customized financial plans suitable for each client based on potential life changes and changing financial needs • Compile each client’s financial information to determine financial goals, financial status, cash flow, and financial expectations • Assist clients in implementing financial recommendations such as life insurance, mutual funds, savings plans, and other financial products • Provide exceptional customer service to existing clients; track and monitor communications in the client file, including strategies and financial advice given • Seek, identify, and approach new prospects continuously and establish strong relationships with new clients as their trusted advisor Job Qualifications • Exemplary communication skills, math skills, relationship skills, and customer service skills are vital • Previous success in financial services as a financial planner, personal financial advisor, financial analyst, or financial consultant is needed • Program proficiency including MS Office, Google Suite, CRM systems, and financial planning software is preferred • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field • Relevant knowledge of the financial industry, financial products, best practices, and tax regulations is vital Compensation $50,000 - $80,000 Responsibilities: • Develop and provide financial advice and strategies that are suitable based on client risk tolerance and financial objectives • Provide exceptional customer service to existing clients; track and monitor communications in the client file, including strategies and financial advice given • Establish strong relationships with new clients as their trusted advisor and continuously identify, seek, and approach prospects • Create customized financial plans suitable for each client based on potential life changes and changing financial needs • Help clients implement financial recommendations such as life insurance, savings plans, mutual funds, and other financial products • Prospect and contact potential clients to discuss their financial needs and concerns • Present an array of potential solutions using our competitive suite of products and services to help clients identify and achieve their financial goals • Offer high-quality life insurance, fixed annuities, long-term care insurance, securities, investments, and other products for insurance and retirement, education, and business planning needs • Create and implement business and marketing plans that will expand your client base • Develop your professional skills and knowledge through the New York Life training curriculum • Obtain optional licenses, with help from the company, to sell investments and other securities products concerning wealth management and advanced planning • Potential for growth within the company • Manage schedule and calendar • This is a full-time position Qualifications: • Valid professional license CPA, or CFP (Certified Financial Planner license from Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards) and FINRA Series 7 and 66, are required • Success as a financial planner, personal financial advisor, financial analyst, or financial consultant is desired • Up-to-date knowledge of the financial industry, financial products, best practices, and tax regulations is necessary • Excellent math skills, relationship skills, communication skills, and customer service skills are crucial • A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field is required • Sales experience preferred with a growth mindset • Strong business acumen • Must possess uncompromising integrity • Ability to engage your community and leverage personal networks and contacts • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to communicate complex skills • Motivated and driven personality • Self-disciplined • Willingness to obtain licensure, if necessary • Strong leadership skills • Ability to adapt to changing needs • Innovative and self-driven • Flexibility Compensation: $50,000 - $80,000 yearly
