We are looking for an experienced truck driver to carry raw and finished goods between our Albertville and Boaz locations in a safe and timely manner.
Location: 703 Railroad Avenue, Albertville, AL, 35950, United StatesBase Pay: $24.00 / HourMinimum Experience: 2 Years
Key responsibilities include:
Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants and distribution centersInspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenancePlan routes and meet delivery schedulesComply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and proceduresManeuver trucks into loading or unloading positionsCollect and verify delivery instructionsReport defects, accidents or violationsAll other duties assigned
Successful candidates will have:
Proven work experience as a truck driverExtensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulationsNo recent moving or driving violationsKnowledge of the manufacturing processes.Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendationsValid truck driving licenseMust have high school diploma or equivalent
Minimum work experience requirements:
Acceptable performance record and attendance record required.
