REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business with Emphasis in Accounting
Must have a Minimum of Three Years of Staff Accounting Experience
Must be Experienced with Month End Close, Bank Reconciliation, Journal Entries, and Account Analysis
Must have Experience working with ERP Accounting Software (Macola, MS Dynamics, Oracle, SAP)
Must be Proficient with Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Staff Accountant supports the Accounting Manager and CFO by providing timely analysis of GL accounts, making journal entries, maintaining account schedules, reconciling bank and credit card statements, assisting with our annual audit, and completing other tasks as necessary.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyzing and researching accounts.
Assisting with monthly closing by performing regular account reconciliations and journal entries.
Preparing Bank Statement Reconciliations every month.
Maintaining accounting records for Advertising Funds (National and Regional) including disbursement records and fund balance reports.
Reconciling corporate credit card statements to employee expense reports in Certify.
Assisting with our annual audit – preparation of schedules, research for auditors, analysis of accounts, etc.
Assisting with the implementation of new accounting standards as needed.
