The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Training and Certification Team is looking for a Technical Program Manager who wants to be a part of building exciting and new tools and products for AWS Training and Certification. Customers are rapidly adopting Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a way to build scalable and cost-effective web and IT solutions for their businesses. To do that effectively, they need training, and not just a couple of PowerPoint slides and a long lecture. AWS is developing highly technical learning solutions using machine learning (ML) models and leading Generative AI (GenAI) solutions that get customers deep into AWS technologies. The qualified candidate will have an understanding of ML processes, concepts and relevant underlying platforms and data storage strategies. A demonstrated ability to utilize architecture design strategies to analyze customer requirements and business processes, design software solutions, and consult on the implementation of approved designs. Candidates will have excellent writing skills and technical knowledge of AWS domains. Above all, you will have a passion for learning.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of technical product or program management experience
7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
3+ years of software development experience
5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
4+ years of experience with ML Operations and Implementation
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
3+ years of Software Architecture experience including, translating business requirements into technical requirements, identifying design constraints and risks, articulate the impact of design choices and best path for design quality.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
