Work Location: On-site at our Display, Processing, and Networking Center of Excellence in Johnstown, PAStandard working hours for our production staff are: Monday through Thursday from 6:00am-3:30pm, working Fridays 6:00am-2:30pm and every other Friday off.Job Responsibilities
Responsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budgetFollow written work instructions must maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures including those which govern the handling of materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment (WHMIS)Properly use required PPEMay participate in LEAN Events, "Six S" activities, action teams etcPerform entry-level assembly functions, which may include: prep, mechanical , harness, cable, printed circuit board sub-assemblies, spray application, and inspection, typically working from drawings, within ProductionPerform simple assemblies and hardware installation screws, washers, nuts and have basic understanding of build documentationPerform pull-test and verify tooling, use torque tools and have the ability to interpret & assemble multiple units in dept Basic troubleshootingMaintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures including those which govern the handling of materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment (WHMIS)Must be able to access production tools (routers, parts list, work instructions, etc) and be able to wire prep, auto bond, sleevingQualifications
