Calibration Program Lead

As a Calibrations Program Lead working onsite in our quality organization in Delaware, OH, you will be responsible for a variety of calibration and verification tasks in quality assurance and production settings. You will ensure that all instruments are calibrated and promptly, observing industry standards and regulatory requirements. Reporting directly to the QC Lab Manager you will work with multiple departments to schedule and perform instrument calibrations, maintain calibration records, and manage calibration equipment and supplies. Key Responsibilities Understand calibration and verification requirements of equipment as it relates to site Quality Management System goals Maintain the existing and any new calibration/verification requirements Maintain our online calibrations database Hands-on work with instrumentation during downtime events or while developing protocols Organize relative data as it relates to calibration requirements Show evidence and main documentation for any internal or external audits related to the job responsibility Ensure compliance with site and external entity safety regulations Train other team members on appropriate calibration, verification, or maintenance tasks Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering field 1 year of academic or professional laboratory experience Experience in instrument calibration in a regulated industry Experience working with analytical laboratory equipment Experience with ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949 PPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
