Ability to use and understand computerized tracking systems, and production labelsDay to day activities will consist of handling and loading/unloading glass and/or metal products, load securement, daily pre and post trip of vehicles, multiple deliveries, and customer serviceUnloading could include handling loose, crated, and racked glass, metal and associated products, as well as, operating boom cranesRegular and predictable attendance, safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures, including Critical Safety Rules, are essential functions of your jobQualifications
We require a
minimum
of 2 years recent CMV driving experience or completed a DOT driver training class from an accredited truck driving school and 1 year of verifiable driving experienceLast 3 years
clear driving record
with
no tickets or accidentsMust possess a valid CDL license issued by the state of residenceAble to work a flexible starting timeMust be able to complete logbook requirements and all other assigned necessary paperworkMust be able to read and interpret mathematical measurements of glass sizes and delivery schedules as well as effectively use a tape measureMust follow all DOT requirements including an unexpired Medical Examiners CertificateGood customer relations and people skills a mustRegular and predictable attendance, safely performing tasks and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your jobHandle product in a manner that will not cause damage to the product or injury to self or othersRecognize product defects and notify supervisor immediately of any issuesWhat We’re Looking For
To be considered for an Operator position, the following conditions must be metBasic computer familiarityRead and use a tape measureBasic EnglishRead and perform mathematical calculations and measurements with numbers, fractions, and decimals normally acquired through high school education or equivalencyPhysical Requirements
