JOB SUMMARY
As a Registered Nurse, ou will be working in home-like cottages with 12 elders per cottage and a ratio of 1:4 for CNA for elders on the day shift and 1:12 on the night shift. Our nurse to elder ratio is 1:24. The CNAs take care of the elders by cooking food, cleaning rooms and kitchen, assisting with activities, and providing cares.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Provide direct patient care, including administering medication, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, medications, and self-care techniques.
Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.
Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to the appropriate medical staff.
Adhere to all nursing standards and protocols.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education / Experience / License and Certifications
Current unrestricted Wyoming Registered Nurse Licensure.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered nurse preferred, but not required.
BLS certification, required.
Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record system is a plus.
Proficiency in catheterization, DME (Durable Medical Equipment), sonography, and home care procedures.
Central Registry, required on start.
Additional Skills
Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Specific demands not listed: Possible exposure to blood and or body fluids / infectious disease / hazardous waste requiring the use of Personal Protective Equipment. Exposure to odorous chemicals / specimens and Latex products.
