Who We're Seeking:
Are you passionate about ensuring top-notch care and training in a home healthcare setting? Join us as a Quality Nurse Educator and play a pivotal role in guiding and enhancing the skills of our clinical staff. In this position, you'll oversee both orientation and ongoing training, ensuring our team delivers safe, high-quality, and cost-effective care to patients.
Your Responsibilities:
As a member of our dedicated team, you'll:Oversee and Manage Clinical Training : Lead the clinical preceptor program, ensuring competency checklists and training materials are up-to-date with homecare and hospice standards and regulatory requirements. Provide one-on-one orientation for new clinicians in collaboration with the Clinical Managers and serve as an in-house consultant for clinical teams.Assess and Enhance Competency : Evaluate and address learning needs, design tailored learning experiences and monitor the effectiveness of training programs. Perform home visits and assess staff readiness for patient care assignments, focusing on best practices and regulatory compliance.Educational Support and Collaboration : Develop and provide educational tools and resources, including agency procedures and patient materials. Collaborate with Clinical Managers on ongoing education, manage in-service scheduling, and communicate with external organizations for continuing education and training.Quality Improvement and Troubleshooting : Conduct chart audits, offer recommendations for documentation improvements, and work with the IT Department to resolve clinical information system issues. Coordinate staff education and quality initiatives to enhance clinical practice and compliance.Why Join Us:

VT Licensed BSN required, Masters preferredMinimum two years clinical nursing experienceExperience in home care and/or case management in a home care setting preferredExperience teaching adults in a clinical setting desired
