to its rapidly expanding advanced therapy wound team. This position will require the successful candidate to travel with our mobile wound team to patient residences and skilled nursing facilities and use our unique wound therapy to treat chronic non-healing wounds. This position will require the successful candidate to travel throughout the
Salina to Hutchinson areas of Kansas and collaborate with various partners of the Patient Care Team to deliver patient care. Drivers license and a clean driving record are required for this position.Qualification Summary:Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of KansasAdvanced Wound Care Certification PreferredAdvanced Wound Debridement Certification PreferredMaster's Degree preferredCurrent CPR CertificationThese statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to this classification. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties performed by the Nurse Practitioner.ResponsibilitiesConduct health assessments including recording complete medical and psychosocial history into the electronic medical recordRecord symptoms as described by patientsConduct physical examinations as it relates to wound conditions of the patient population we serveMake diagnoses based on examination and diagnostic testingPerform advanced wound care therapy using advanced techniques, perform advanced sharp debridement when appropriate and placing amniotic allografts on woundsProvide patient education to promote habits that will prevent diseases and maintain good health that is restorative in natureCollaborate with other healthcare providers, including physicians and nurses to delivers best outcomes for patientsOrder and interpret lab and diagnostic testingFollow up on a patient to determine the effectiveness of recommended treatmentsParticipate in the development of clinical and quality policies to effectively deliver and improve services and outcomes to patientsClean driving record and valid drivers licenseSkillsProven experience as Nurse Practitioner n a clinic, hospital, ER or other settingKnowledge of health and patient care regulationsExcellent communication skillsStrong ethicsTeam spirit with a positive attitudePatience and cool-headednessWillingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experienceEducation and Experience:Two years experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferredOne to Three Years Wound Care Experience PreferredPrior debridement experience requiredEnergetic, team player who is driven to adapt to a growing practiceAbility to demonstrate compassion toward patientsAbility to complete tasks thoroughlyWork Environment:

Kansas APRN Annual Salary commensurate on experience : $118,000 to $130,000.
