Waste Control, a Waste Connections company, is hiring a Local Class A CDL Tractor-Trailer Driver to join the team in
Longview, Washington!
This is a local long-haul trucking position pulling a 53-foot trailer with garbage and other live loads, from the Transfer station and Mills up to Headquarters Road for disposal.
The schedule will be Monday – Friday 5:15am to 4:15 pm with Overtime often.
Starting Rate of pay is $26.87/hr.
We are also offering a $2,000 Stay on Bonus!

Duties and Responsibilities:
Valid Class A CDL with air brakes endorsement. Must have no restrictions and be able to drive interstate.
Ability to Operate and maneuver Tractor trailer hauling a 53’ Foot Trailer.
Ability to read route sheets or Tablet and service each customer identified or assigned by the dispatcher.
Perform Daily Pre-trip and Post-Trip inspections on vehicles. Such as checking fluids, safety equipment, lights and tire pressure.
Minimum 1+ years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Working knowledge of D.O.T. laws
Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Ability to work a physically demanding job.
Willingness to submit to and pass background check and pre-employment drug screening test
Ability to read, write and comprehend reports to complete daily assignments
Clean driving record.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts. Which require following basic safety precautions.
The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.
