We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology, data science, and AI to drive our business forward.Vista Equity Partners is seeking a highly skilled Office365 and Exchange Engineer responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of end-user cloud services, collaboration, and computing experience. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical experience in designing and providing sophisticated end-user solutions utilizing the Office 365 platform with a specific emphasis on Office 365 Apps and Exchange.This role is based in Austin, TX and is for an immediate start.Responsibilities
Oversee the administration and troubleshooting of the O365 suite, with a focus on Exchange, ensuring seamless functionality and a high level of security/performance.Support and maintain user mailboxes, distribution groups, calendars, and other Exchange-related services.Resolve complex technical issues (Tier 3) and perform root cause analysis to optimize O365 environment.Mentor support team members on the O365 and Exchange environment.Partner with InfoSec team and implement security best practices for email, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.Collaborate with the Infrastructure groups on backup/recovery operations and disaster recovery testing related to O365 implementation.Maintain a good understanding of upcoming changes to O365 platforms to assist with organizational change management and documentation updates.Develop solutions using Power Platform (Automate, Apps, BI, and Power Shell) to meet organizational needs in an efficient and effective manner.Design and automate workflows to improve business processes.Partner with third-party service providers and applications to ensure seamless implementation within Office 365 and Exchange environments.Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field.5+ years of professional level experience in computer applications, systems, networks, or telecommunications work with at least 2 years focused on the development, implementation, and maintenance of electronic business systems/solutions, or application development and/or support.5+ years of engineering experience.Experience in Microsoft 365 architecture with a full stack specialization.Strong practical experience in the use of PowerShell.Experience with Office 365 and Exchange (on premise/online) administration.Experience with CoPilot, Entra, SharePoint/OneDrive, and Teams a plus.Strong understanding of API integrations and experience managing integrations in Office 365 suite.Experience building Power Apps and automating business processes with Power Automate/Microsoft Flow.Financial Services or other regulated industry experience preferred.Preferred Certifications: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Power Platform Fundamentals, Exchange Online Administrator.
