RESPONSIBILITIES:
Expert knowledge and experience in current Windows client server to include OS configuration, file sharing, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.Experience with administration of various Linux operating systems (CentOS, Ubuntu). Provide desktop support across the Org and managed Enclaves.Optimize system operations and resource utilization.Coordinate, deliver, install, and maintain end user devices (EUDs) hardware and software.Implement ongoing system security compliance measures to include patches and system updates.Expert knowledge and demonstrated experience and its implementation using VMware vSphere (vCenter/ESXi) and Horizon View (VDI Desktops).Experience working in an Enclave environment.Expert knowledge and experience managing NetApp (NFS, CFIS) and Dell EqualLogic (ISCSI).Work with ticketing systems.
DESIRED SKILLS:Recent System Administration experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.Experience working in an Enclave Environment.Experience performing system analyzes and planning.Intermediate experience with PowerShell scripting and programming.Experience providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 support.Solid Knowledge of and current experience with Azure and VDI.Practical experience in implementing and maintaining thin-client workstations and virtualization (VDI Desktops).Practical experience in implementing and maintaining virtualization (VDI Desktops).
REQUIREMENTS:Must have one of the following DoD approved certifications to meet the category/level IAT-2 (DD 8570) requirement for this position: Security+, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA-Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), CASP, GCIH, or GCED.Required Education & Experience: High School/GED (+12) years of relevant experience. AD (+10) years of relevant experience. BA/BD (+6) years of relevant experience. Master's degree (+4) years of relevant experience, or PHD (+2) years of relevant experience.
