, who is passionate about solving difficult problems with creative software solutions, to join an exciting, growing information technology company.Jumpmind Commerce is at the forefront of the digital revolution in retail stores. Our microservices commerce platform is built to solve the real-world problems retailers face in providing frictionless customer journeys. We are focused on innovation for the store and ecommerce experiences. Our clients are all well-known large retail brands.Requirements
Roles and ResponsibilitiesDesign, code, and test software in modern software languages (e.g. Java, Angular).Troubleshoot and debug released software.Implement and customize solutions for customers.Assist and guide open-source community projects.Integrate software with multiple database platforms and external systems/platforms.Support, maintain, and document software functionality.Evaluate and identify new technologies for adoption.Experience, Skills, and QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.2+ years software development experience using modern software languages with exposure to all phases of the software development lifecycle.Deep understanding of software and data storage fundamentals.Experience with source code control software.Solid understanding of and experience with Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps concepts.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team.Preferred Experience, Skills, and QualificationsExperience working with customers/end-users.
