We provide reliable data to help business decision-makers assess risks and opportunities.Role:As a member of the Proprietary Data Team, the Data Specialist will be responsible for analyzing vast datasets to identify and resolve entities, extracting trends to enhance data quality and accuracy. This role requires analytical prowess and technical skills to translate data insights into actionable requirements for our software development team.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive data analysis with a focus on entity resolution across multiple datasets.Utilize tools such as SQL and Excel to manipulate and analyze data accurately.Extract and interpret trends from data analysis, translating these insights into clear requirements for the software development team.Collaborate with IT professionals and developers to validate the integration of new solutions.Monitor and verify the outcomes of implemented solutions to ensure they meet predefined criteria.Continually assess and refine the entity resolution process to enhance data quality and efficiency.Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in data analysis techniques.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.2-4 years of proven experience in data analysis and management.Experience with SQL, Excel, and other data analysis tools.Ability to translate complex data insights into actionable requirements.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills, fluency in English.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills & Qualifications:Experience with Spark, Python, R, or other programming languages commonly used in data analysis.Knowledge of machine learning techniques in entity resolution.Familiarity with data visualization tools.Moody’s is an equal opportunity employer.
